How it works

Everything, in the order you’ll run into it.

  1. When is it open?

Thursday to Sunday. Monday to Wednesday is for voting on where to go next.

  2. What is a lobby?

Where the people going somewhere meet first. A spot’s lobby is for everyone going to that spot on one night: join it from the map, see who else is in, and talk. A night’s lobby is for the people on a night a member planned.

  3. What does the roll do?

It picks a lobby for you from that day’s. You have one rolled seat, so rolling again moves you. Everyone in the lobby can see who rolled in.

  4. How does the vote work?

Each week the members vote on where to go. A spot with enough votes gets a lobby for that weekend. Every Monday the count starts again.

  5. What is a night?

A plan a member made: one to three stops, a day and a time. Nights are in the feed. Joining one puts you in its lobby, with whoever planned it. You can make your own, and choose who sees it.

  6. Can I have a private lobby?

Yes. Build a night, with one stop or a few, and set who can see it to link only, friends or a group. It opens a lobby for those people and nobody else, off the map, with no votes needed.

  7. Who can see me?

Every member can see your profile and that you’re in a lobby. The spots on your profile are for your friends unless you open them up in settings. A post or a night goes to everyone, your friends or a group, and you choose each time.

  8. Who can message me?

Your friends, and the iniki account. Nobody else. A friendship is something both sides said yes to, and either side can end it.

  9. How do I bring someone in?

From your profile’s settings: an invite is for one person and lasts 14 days, and you can have 5 open at a time.

  10. What is a guide?

Someone who knows where to go. A guide’s single vote gives a spot its lobby. The first hundred in each city keep a number for it.

  11. Somebody is a problem. What do I do?

Block them and neither of you sees the other again, anywhere. Report them from the lobby and staff read it, with what was said there.
